"I have several brick walls in Bedford County PA."

"Thomas and Hannah Meredith Ellis who were married in 1784 in Frederick Co, MD.,
were deceased by 1843 when the children had a court hearing about their property in
Bethel Hollow, Napier Twp., Bedford Co., PA . I would like to find their death dates and information
concerning their parents and siblings. Their children were: Sarah Ellis (1785 - 1881);
Mary Ellis, who married John
Border; John Ellis who died 1859 in Napier Twp.; Enos
Ellis, (1792 - 1877) Cambria Co., PA.; and Thomas
Ellis who died young."

"Enos is my line. He was married twice. His first wife is unknown. There
were at least two children by this marriage: Mary born 1835, and Florinda
born 1827. With a time scale this wide there should be other children. These
two are with their father and step-mother in the 1850 Cambria Co. census. Mary
is supposed to have married a
Fleck, Fleek, or Fluke and I have lost her
after the 1850 census. Florinda married George
Hess. Their son was John
Hess who was the train engineer that warned the downstream towns of the dam
breaking at the time of the Johnstown flood. I have a photo of the engine
he was using at the time of the flood."

Enos Ellis Sr.(1792 - 1877) & Ruth Anna Adams Ellis (1810 - 1882)

"Enos Ellis' second wife was Ruth Anna Adams, daughter of Obediah and
Elizabeth
Heartzel Adams of Bedford County. Enos and Ruth Anna's children
are Hannah who married Edwin
Thomas and moved to Iowa, Naomi who moved to OH
where she married John Samuel
Graham and went to Kansas, Eliza who married
Thomas J.
Hughes and died in Cambria Co., and Enos Ellis Jr who didn't marry
and died at Andersonville Prison during the Civil War."

Hannah Emily Ellis Thomas (1848 - 1929) & Edwin Thomas - married 1875.

Naomi L. Ellis Graham (1846 - 1937) & John Samuel Graham (1838 - 1911)

Eliza Jane Ellis / Hughes (1851 - 1882) (w/o Thomas Hughes)

Enos Ellis II (1844 - 1865) - Died in Andersonville Prison

"I would very much like to learn who Enos' first wife might have been, and a
marriage date for him and Ruth Anna. Enos and Ruth Anna and the children
moved from Bedford to Cambria Co., PA sometime in the 1840's and the parents
are buried at Wilmore, Summerhill Twp, Cambria Co., PA."

"I have photos of Enos, Ruth Anna, their three daughters and son and many of
Naomi and Hannah and their families. I would like to find family who would
like to share information about these people."
