of Rt 220, about 2 miles
North of Centerville.
George Bortz deeded the
land for this church in 1837. The church was organized in 1837
and in 1841 a
stone church was constructed
in this location.

Henry Wertz
and Samuel R. Whip. Bob
notes that Samuel's stone reads 22 years, not the 72 years that
was
previously listed. Henry
Wertz's stone reads: Died on Feb. 9, 1910, (not the 8th as was
previously listed).
