John Fletcher Snyder was a son of Philip Snyder, born September 25, 1813, and Mary Ann Fletcher,
born January 22, 1812. Barbara Ellen Mearkle was a daughter of Bartley Mearkle, born December 06,
1819, and Louisanna Sleighter, born October 08, 1820. John & Barbara Ellen were married in
Bedford County on June 05, 1873.
